WELCOME TO RICHMOND BRIDGE CLUB |
|
Welcome to Richmond Bridge Club, the most popular and successful EBU affiliated club in the country! A friendly and progressive club, we are housed in the old Bowling Club Pavilion in Cambridge Park, nestled between Richmond & Twickenham. Our Clubhouse has multiple playing rooms, teaching facilities and a fully licensed bar.
We offer a range of duplicate bridge sessions every day of the week for players of all abilities - our full schedule of regular events may be found here.
As a courtesy to other members, we would ask you to refrain from coming to the club if you are suffering from any kind of typical winter respiratory infection - regardless of COVID, we would all prefer not to contend with too much coughing and sneezing! Hand sanitisers are available throughout the club - please use them!
Our Academy offers lessons for new players, beginners and improvers, and seminars for more experienced players. For more detail about the different sessions for novices and improvers, please click here.
If you are interested in learning, please register by clicking here.

This is a fund raising event for the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher - click HERE for their website.
Janet Leffler is leading our cafe bridge team this year supported by Zita Crewe, Sally Durant, Jonathan Hird & Caroline Owens. They have provisionally agreed some of the restaurants taking part this year including Cote, Buenos Aires, Pizza Express, Angel & Crown, The Old Ship, Richmond Vault, Piccolo Vicolo, Tapas Brindisa & Watermans and we hope there may be more to come !
On the day we will be directed as always by the wonderful Victor Lesk and his team with scores entered electronically by players on their smartphones using the BriAn app-based scoring system. The cost per person is £40.00 (bridge and food - drinks are excluded).
Bookings will be taken via credit/debit card or BACS transfer through the BriAnBridge website (i.e. not through your club member account).

Konstanz Pub Bridge - April 14th |
Richmond is twinned with Konstanz, on the edge of Lake Constance in Germany (we are also twinned with Fontainebleu in France!). During lockdown we played regular events on Realbridge together with, and against, the members of Konstanz Bridge Club.
We have maintained that relationship and they have now invited us to take part in their Pub Bridge event on Sunday April 14th. This is very similar in concept to our own cafe bridge event - playing 6 rounds at 6 different venues. Konstanz Bridge Club also plays on Monday and Wednesday evenings (from 19:00) and players would be welcome to join those sessions too.
